About Tania

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it."

True story: When I was a kid, I used to play Saloon Owner in the bath. Using the empty shampoo bottles, I would sling drinks, keep the rowdy cowboys in line and even clean up the joint (scrub the tiles and mumble) after a "fight".

In 2007, I opened a bar in New York City called Dexy*s.

My life is filled with serendipitous moments that have allowed me to create jobs and businesses for myself. And, to be honest, I wasn't "qualified" for any of them. I just knew to say yes when someone asked me if I wanted to.

So when someone asked if I wanted to host a radio show, I said yes.

When someone asked if I could build an art gallery, I said yes.

When someone asked if I would cater an event in the Hamptons, I said yes.

When someone asked if I wanted to write for a national magazine, I said yes

When someone asked if I wanted to do marketing at one of the first (and still-standing) dot-coms, I said yes.

When someone asked if I would shoot their modelling portfolio, I said yes.

When someone asked if I wanted to translate a book, I said yes.

When someone asked me what I did for a living at a party, I said "Music Consultant." And at that moment I became one, without a website, business card or any previous experience, and landed an international client (my first ever client) that night.

So when someone asked if I wanted to partner in a bar in my hometown, I said yes.

And I had never done or been educated in any of these things. Not even a little bit. Qualified-schmalified! I did it.

Why am I telling you all of this?

Because your excuses don't hold water.

Because if you want it (what ever it is) it's yours.

Because you will never be ready enough to do something different.

And because, if you're like me, this is how it's been since you were a kid:

People have always turned to you for random advice or help.

You have always just been able to figure things out.

You are curious about everything, teach yourself what you need to know and consider falling down the Wikipedia hole a fun night.

You find yourself constantly coming up with new ideas to the point of being overwhelmed by possibilities.

You are scared of choosing one thing for fear of choosing one thing.

Well, welcome to the club, mon ami(e)

Here's another fact, when I was 16, I told my guidance counselor that I wanted to start a business called "The Big Idea" where I would give people the information and guidance to create whatever they wanted to create.

This is my job now. You are my dream. Let's get this party started.

"WHATEVER YOU CAN DO OR DREAM YOU CAN, BEGIN IT.

BOLDNESS HAS GENIUS, POWER AND MAGIC IN IT. BEGIN IT NOW."

What I like most about working with Tania is the way she's able to break challenges down to super manageable and actionable chunks. She's like a real-life Olivia Pope- she has a solution for everything!

I know she's... brilliant at what she does. If she says she can help you achieve something in your business, she can freaking do it- it's whether or not you want it (or are prepared) to have that level of success.

Since working I've been working with Tania:

  • I've consistently closed more sales at a higher price point in my business than I ever have before,
  • I became an ambassador for Virgin Startup, met Sir Richard Branson, and I'm going to Necker Island in the new year (2017),
  • I've completely changed my business model for the better.

And I'm well on my way to building my dream business
